Some weakness starting to creep back in.

Other 3 major indices (SPX, NDX & RUT) are all seeing buying come in. Not Dow currently - sideways, although momentum is picking up slightly.

Came within 2 points of 38.2% retrace of day's range, but no I caught my trade earlier today. 1, 2 a day is all I need.

Think it is likely just the lunch hour doldrums. Interested for sure how it closes later.

Wall Street has yet to find a bottom today - and 10yr yield is cratering too.

If $SPX hasn't topped already these are two potential time/price zones I see:-

Think Gold traders are stuck in wait and see mode in the (D) Pres/(R) House of Reps stalemate over budget negotiations concerning raising the debt ceiling limit.

As I thought might happen:-

Not if Crude has anything to say about it.

Crude gapped up on the open tonight (OPEC cutting production), DXY up as well and all Dollar FX pairs the other way. Which is naturally causing Gold to drop as well. At least for the moment.

Should be interesting new week (likely a continuation of current trend):-

Now Gold I can see going possibly higher in current market conditions.

Well so far this morning Gold has follow-thru up, while $DXY is dropping - which is how it "usually" happens.

Today was a reversal day - open, traded down, but closed higher. Curious to see what happens tomorrow - any follow-thru(?) - since $DXY also had a reversal up day as well but 10yr yield had reversal day down.

U.S. PCE Core news release in 10 minutes (830am EDT) should liven things up a bit.

Trading with the trend leads to higher probability trades. HH's and HL's since early November.

Well 10yr yield keeps dropping so $DXY strength yesterday likely might have been a one day thing. Which inversely Gold benefitted from so far today.
