    • What trains the neural network?
      Started Sep 25, 2008|Rookie Talk|2 replies

Just curious what any of you neural fans use to train your neural networks. If anyone has an ...

Abstract Cointegration — I think I would be more interested to see if there was cointegration of government backed securities of countries and their currency pairs...Seems like they would 'wander' seems like they would wander back and forth a ...

There is some traffic for sure, but there is a nice 23 fib, PPZ and 365 EMA confluence to make it look a bit more attractive. The R:R on this trade looks good to me- especially if we could get back down to PPZ at 102.50 level and maybe even beyond. ...

There are definitely a bunch of opportunities today. Be aware of the correlation risks though before playing multiple setups. I'm thinking the dollar bulls are out of steam right now. We shall see though.

IMO, after the breakout of that sideways consolidation, followed by the daily pin that failed to break back through (at least up until this point), I think the Euro train is ready to proceed north-bound. Like you though, I think the .58 level is ...

Aussie PB — Who else is hoping that the Aussie is ready for a retrace off that PB? The .9500 area might put up a good fight, but if we get past that it could be a nice little correction.

I'm thinking along the same lines. We've got no shortage of setups today (1 hour left pending), but there isn't anything that's screaming at me (at least not yet). BTW, anybody short Euro off yesterday's daily pin? I stayed away because of what ...

The irony of trading — Well, I would definitely have to say that the market doesn't react to divergence...but I can safely say that divergence reacts to the market! Just keep in mind as you expand your trading education that the market reacts ...

The James16 Chart thread is great for learning a lot of the basics of price action bar formations. I think investopedia has a good article on some of the more long term ones as well such as head and shoulders, doublt/triple taps, triangles, ect.

    • Clauticeo replied Jun 30, 2008

Yep — I noticed this too. The dollar started out weak early in the day, then came back to form pins on basically all the pairs. Going long $/___ or short ___/$ seems scary to me right now though, notably because of the fed's decision last ...

    • Clauticeo replied Jun 24, 2008

Thing is, even if they did share their method in detail, it's almost a given that most new traders would still blow up several accounts anyway, then give up for good. There are far too many variables that must come from personal experience. I don't ...

Yeah when I found IB I was looking forward to trying out their demo, until I saw the line about needing a funded account. Sheesh! Thanks for the suggestions everybody- they're all going on a list to be tried out. It didn't take me long to discover ...

I like the USD/Swissy BEOB on daily (Flem has chart a few posts back). Aligns perfectly with what appears to be a nice double top. Could potentially be a pretty big move down from here.
