Thanks for the explanation. So it's not a true market because you are dependant on the banks to give you a price. It's better when you can see other retail orders on the book because many times you'll get a better price than the banks.

That is not true. MB trading & LMAX are true ecn's. you can see yours & other retail users orders in the market depth.
