IMO watching orderflow is useful if you daytrade (meaning you are flat at the end of the day no matter what). If you are swing trading and holding for weeks/months, then I can agree it's not as useful.

The reason why I think you are buying/selling blind is because you cannot see the things displayed in this video. A candle/swing/past price action does not show you this information. video

You are making assumptions. They can add/pull all they want... I can still see what hits the bid and lifts the offer. You are buying/selling blind and hoping for a reversal off of a S/R line. Nothing is easy about trading no matter how you trade. ...

Who says you need $25k? You must be thinking stocks? You can open a Futures account with $500 (not recommended). Lol sounds like you may have more issues than trying to be a profitable trader.

Finally someone who gets it. Why would any retail trader want to trade a market that doesn't show true volume? Instant disadvantage.

These guys are not looking at DOM's to get into swing trades. They are pushing size and scalping ticks or spreading. I'm 99% sure they are not trading Spot Forex since there is no depth of market. Here is another trading floor. You can google image ...

Yes. It's difficult for me to give you advice on larger time frames since I'm only looking for 3-5 ticks, unless bids/offers are getting crushed. You could use order flow to refine your entries and reduce risk.

React to what is happening now. Anyone can identify S/R, Trend lines, Moving Average bounce, ect... But these alone are not an edge, they are reference points. Being able to see participation at these reference points can provide the edge. You want ...

Oh and commissions do matter even if you're swing trading. Let's look at the bigger picture. Let's say you put on 100 trades a year trading 3 standard lots. 100 Trades $24 round turn .5 spread $15 = $3,900 where as I'm paying $3 round turn no spread ...
