What dates did you use for the backtest? Wow- 53% DD. I don't think that's something anybody wants to trade, but maybe the settings just need to be optimized.

If you run backtests on the same currency with different brick sizes, you'll get widely varying results. Optimizing for brick size is one of the most important tasks for renko system traders, IMO
