I'd rather pay less commissions than worry about the get paid part. Bottom line is that when you need to get out of a trade, the Limit thing doesn't help. But let's say you can maintain a 75 market/25 limit ratio. That's effectively a $1.85 or so ...

They are now saying just over a week until FREE EXN accounts can be opened for Desktop instead of MT4.

OK, I'm now about three weeks into this live trading test comparison between MBT Free EXN and PFL. Both accounts the same size, both running the same EA. Not a glitch on either platform in the almost three weeks. Net results are that I'm slightly ...

Hi- Let me get this straight. You are a professional trader with $50,000 to trade Forex with, but you don't know if Citi FX is part of Citibank?

Just a quick note to close out the week. I had some small size trades in the system today on live accounts in both PFL and FREE EXN using stops/markets to get in and T/P Limits to get out. We had GDP data that caused a fast market and then the ...

I have been doing a lot of research since the PFG situation and have also decided to open with MBT. I am very concerned about what seems to be a series of ethics issues stemming from the business of most of the "Forex only" brokers, who all came up ...

Some brokers let third parties expand the broker spread to get that "rebate" that they then give back to the client.

NFA is a scam. We should look to an FX brokerage with a history that has capitalization but decides to get rid of NFA. You want the board of FXCM deciding your broker's fate? Get rid of the NFA. Let's get a real regulator.

Citi? Give me a break. The question is, where did the money go? Losses against trading against customers? Management took it (blending of funds)? This point doesn't matter if the money is GONE, but it should still become public.

MF Global was huge. Refco was the hugest (back in the day). Huge doesn't solve corruption.

Sorry to hear. Not sure your list is the answer. MF Global would have been high on the list. I think the better answer is to get away from these FX only brokers and find someone that has been around awhile with a legit interest in fixing the ...

That sounds more like the problem than the NFA. This is corporate corruption at its best.

How can you say it is a regulator problem when the top management of the broker decided to lie? You had me until this point (if I believe that you pulled your funds from PFG in the last weeks). But this is ridiculous. If a CEO or CFO wants to steal ...

The funny thing is that it seems like so many traders are looking to get away from regulation, as if they don't get that it is there to protect them. They'd rather have a shot at blowing themselves up to 400:1 leverage overnight than care about the ...
