actually no because the ADX is one of 2 criteria for a trade to be entered. The Demarker must also have crossed or wait for it to cross so I think this helps it not get caught in rangebound trades.

Quick backtest over the past week on GJ. Decided against the stop and reverse rule, just a set TP of 5 and SL of 10.. 29 trades, 23 winners, 6 losses

some more manual backtest results from 29th June 2018 to 1st March 2018. 74 trades total. 28 losses x 20 pips = 560 46 trades hit the 1st SD (SD1, as per the initial rules set out in post 1), for a total of 1529 pips with an average size of 33pips. ...
