The question is where is that market depth coming from - a demo or a live order book? I'm guessing (a wild one at that) it would all be demo, thus not a true representation of the live quotes. I guess you could just ask them.

As well as what birdt suggested, you can also try turning the magnet sensitivity to 0. Tools > Options > Objects tab > Magnet sensitivity I find this helps a lot.

Why do trendlines appear in different places on different timeframes?
    • TwoBuckChuck replied Sep 22, 2009

People move the market. Not fundamentals, technicals, interest rates or the moon aligning with the sun. What causes people to react is infinite. Fundamentals (arguably) play the most significant role in the long term, the million dollar question is ...

trading with fundamentals is the only way to go
    • TwoBuckChuck replied Sep 22, 2009

I made no mention of the commentator causing the market to move. Read my post again if you're that daft. Also read your first post again and think about what you're saying. You claim that fundamentals are the only way to go. Yet your basis for this ...

Naïveté — "trading with fundamentals is the only way to go" And you think so because someone on CNN said price will move a certain way and it did? lol.... Classic Good luck, you'll need it.

lol I could also go "cherry picking" definitions to support the argument for and against. Bottom line is that according to some definitions it is, and others it's not. Go with whatever helps you sleep at night.

Define gamble? First rule of thumb, state what definition you are referring to, otherwise the debate is futile. I know the OP's post has disappeared, but I bet "gambling" was not adequately defined (quite common around here). You must define the ...

    • TwoBuckChuck replied Sep 6, 2009

Great post Scotty. There's a couple of things I'd like to add that may help someone. If not, it's no sweat off my back. First is the statement my mentor (a good friend) made to me at the beginning of my journey some years ago. "I can help you build ...

Trade Using VSA (Volume Spread Analysis)
    • TwoBuckChuck replied Sep 5, 2009

It depends on the market/set-up presented and the volatility of the pair. Generally no more than 20 pips, at times it's been as low as 2 or 3 pips plus the spread. Average is about 7-10. I must have a lot of losers then? No, not really. Considering ...

The rat did that by recognising a recurring pattern. Majority of the time going to the left is a pattern. So the rat always went left. It doesn't take a Yale undergrad to understand that... lol The quote is flawed or mis-worded. The rat still ...
