FML! I saw the bearish englufing pattern on the 4 hour chart and entered a short position, only to close it out for a smaller profit than right now if I had held on!!! Well...better a profit than a loss...

We're traders, not news hounds, there's been quite a lot of posts on never trading on news. That's been my personal experience, trade what you see on the charts, if nothing else, it helps you build your own trading techniques.

Phew! Thought my broker was ripping me off...or I had a really delayed price feed which I just made a trade on! Also, you said "shoot" to 1.6190...I usually associate shoot with an upward price move, not down!

What price do you have for GBPUSD at the moment? Your 1.6190...is that up or down from your current position? My broker is currently showing me a price of 1.6323
