I told you they are operating at $80 per account. Not 500. 500 would be as if every single trader had a 100k account at the cheaper prop firms. I tell you what, I will share my hard data, if you share yours. Oh thats right, you don't have any. Both ...

I have some hard data that basically proves I am correct but I can't share it with you so you can decide what you wish to think. There are only 2 firms making the numbers you are saying and its not from such high per account. You also forget the ...

I think you will find there is a net of about 80$ per account for most prop firms if you factor in refunds bonuses etc. if you think of 43 million dollars as a baseline figure, there are only two companies making that much in the industry. The real ...

Back when the US in particular (although i haven't heard much of the SEC in this case) stopped the brokers accepting US citizens, they asked the brokers first to freeze the onboarding of new customers in order to evaluate just what is going on and ...

a little bird told me that brokers are starting to get notices to not do any new business with prop firms. I am assuming metaquotes got a similar notice. Metaquotes would sell a mt5 server to an animal so I doubt it will change much but it could be ...

No it doesn't. You can transfer all data from server to server, most server providers enable that. There was a group of folks preparing a class action, but a white label of the same servers would mean the same trading conditions.

I wonder who they are whitelabelling / how awful the transition is going to be. Also smells like eightcap asked them to leave.

I can tell you with 100% certainty, not all prop firms are demo accounts when live. Scalpers generally are considered toxic flow on retail feeds, so when your eurusd spread is 0.0-0.4 that is retail liquidity, the tickets are small. If you get to ...

People seem to have not quite grasped my point about the "I am a scalper comment". The reason you may be able to say "I'm a scalper" on cfd's is purely because the conditions are lala land conditions. If you get switched to a-book, DMA stp or w/e ...

I did a recent study as part of my consulting gig for a prime regarding CFD's. Almost all retail offerings are 6x market volumes and on all trades over 20 lots on us30 there is 4 ticks less slippage than there should be. One of the datasets was a ...

I don't think they are facing much other than people angry the server froze a lot. For TFF, FTMO does the same sort of thing - even here in forexfactory.

Yikes, this thread has gotten a bit wild. The regulatory panic is a little pre-mature and has become very immature. Brokers went through it, props will get through it. The ones who have good financial standing will remain and some how some way, an ...
