In addition to what Matt said above, you could try closing part of your position and let the rest run at BE or some variation on that theme.

1) I couldn't say which TF is better, but I use M5. I've been thinking about using M15 when I'm out working. 2) I believe TooSlow cautions newer users of the method trading in breakout conditions.

Looking again and I see all your trades are UJ. Anyway, this is the UJ trade I took today. Took 80% at +5 and put a 20 trailer on the remainder. Trailer hit at rollover due to increased spread.

"Variant" 2 is correct. On #1, the candle marked as highest open, didn't open there. Using the provided indicator can take a lot of the guess work out of it.
