Browserguy — Sorry for the late reply, 1. 5 trades 2. 5 trades also (if they were over 55 pips i closed them, my rules only) 3. 4 trades, 2 were for a small loss and 2 were just over break even (3 pips etc) Hope this helps mate...... Juls.

Does anyone have a mt4 indicator where you can just type in how many pips you want to place your stop/take profit, rather than keep working it out on the chart? Many thanks in advance if anyone has this. Juls.

Yes i understand thanks, but because of bigger sl placed at most recent high / low the market will have to work much harder to take out your stop, and most of the time it will settle and continue its original direction. Unless NFP etc... Many ...

Kumo dragon, Thanks for the reply, i agree with what you are saying. Sometimes there is just so much high impact news about (red) that maybe i should stick to the 4hr time frame, as this makes it easier to manage whilst at work. Many thanks, Juls.

Dear Teb, i like your system but maybe it would help people a lot more if you could show entries you take on both charts (5 min, 30 min) as i think pictures speak louder than words.
