Here's a picture of H4 EURUSD. D1, W1 and M1 are all pointing downwards. Two bullish engulfing bars. Am I right to assume that both candles are no trades? [EDIT]Appears I assumed wrong (post url )

I've made a Ninjatrader indy to plot arrows for longs and shorts based on the entry criteria explained on the first page: Price above/below EMA 100. Two consecutive up or down candles after a pullback. CCI 7 above -50 / below 50 (I've assumed this ...

[Edit: hmm... logic for EMA criteria on D1 appears to be flawed... Back to debugging..] A couple of years ago I've bought a lifetime license for Ninjatrader ($995). Still trying to get a return on my investment Therefore I've made an EA for ...

Some bonehead trades I've taken Monday and today. On Monday a famous headfake short, followed by a stupid reversal long taken right at the top of the wick. Today during London I shorted but soon after I've killed it, realizing I've been trading chop ...

An interesting read. When to get into a trend: only at the start or jump in along the way with lower stakes? I've been applying the latter. Spyderman mentioned taking addon trades, which I've more or less put to practice (live).

Thanks for the encouragement Tradestar1 This system enables you to create your own equity millipede, just like Spyderman is currently doing since November. Who knows where the current trends will end. Maybe next Monday or a couple of ...

You have to have patience trading D1, I'll give you that. I've four open D1 trades helping me getting my 10% balance decrease back. See my post in Spyderman's thread.

This long TF method is starting to grow on me, thanks for sharing Spyderman! I've had a rocky experience trading 5M (see my thread in the rookie section: One hit wonder or am I on to something?). I'm actually quite comfortable entering trades on D1 ...

Just wanted to let you know that I've decided to quit trading 5M EU/GU the way I've been doing up to now. Sure. my account balance initially initially grew 10%. However, January's chop got the better of me and I've given back that 10% to the market. ...

I actually use a Mophie Juice Pack which I've found on ebay a year ago. Mophies were no longer available here in Holland for my 3GS. Fortunately someone in the US had them for sale for just $20 including shipping. Wouldn't know what to do without it ...

Is there an "easy" way to trade on Forex?
  • smatthew replied Jan 12, 2013

Funny you should say this, without realizing it I traded the news yesterday (14:15 GMT+1 @ 1.3286). Got cocky too by opening another long around 15:15 GMT+1 @ 1.3352, this time a full lot.. Second trade got up to 1.3361 at which point I ...

  • smatthew replied Jan 12, 2013

Thanks for your "book" I've actually thought about using information from larger TFs in my 5M trading to avoid trading into walls. The coming weeks / months I'll continue trading this way live. I can afford to lose the money in my account. ...
