The thing is, every indicator or EA written in mt4, will have to be rewritten to work in mt5. Unless metatrader comes up with a converter, which does not seem likely, it's not going to be pretty. I can tell you, it's not the easiest thing to convert ...

Ah... yes, metatrader is a bit limited in the tick chart aspect. It can be done, but it's not an elegant solution. Mt5 though will have greater time frame options.
