Hi guitarman, in junleehaw's chart, the vertical lines are drawn when the angled lines from the high intersect the horizontal line drawn from the low.

Andy, on my platform, there are gaps on almost every candle - I'm guessing that depending on your broker, you'll see different quotes, etc?
