The wealthy always pay less in taxes. It's always the middle class who get hurt by higher income taxes like these. And the reason we complain about such high tax rates, Spreadbetter, is because it hurts us, not the rich.

It's not the rich that get hurt by such a tax. It's the middle class. Depending on how the tax goes through. For example, if you make a profit on your house and the tax is on capital gains, well, there goes your profit on your home.
