What do people think of this potential SFP on NZD/USD 4 hour? It has another 45 minutes to bar close. Thanks for feedback.

Mike, Sorry if you have answered this before, but how do you manage to track so many? How much time do you spend reviewing each pair or stock? Can you tell at a glance whether it is worth investigating? How much time elapses between viewings for a ...

rd, I'm a newbie, so take this with a grain of salt. The eur/jpy pin did not wow me. 1. It was not as long as the other pins today. 2. There was not a lot of space to the left of it (orange box). 3. A move up would hit traffic and the 111.00 round ...

Mike, Do you mean you calculated the 2% risk based on a full pinbar loss, but that will never occur because your trade entry will have the SL set much tighter (as indicted on the charts)? And you did this "hypothetical 2% risk" method for each of ...

5.25, From Zerohedge today: "The epic blow out accelerates with the widely followed (by the administration) DJIA dropping by over 400 points at last check. And as we warned earlier, the liquidation sell offs in PM, to no small part driven by rumors ...

watching gbp/chf — Potential bearish pinbar forming. Overall trend is down. But it really needs to close red AND below 1.3300 PPZ/RN.

Jim, thanks for the clarifying 2nd chart, the first chart was a bit cryptic for this newbie. How do you enter these touch trades? I imagine you have your SL above the touch line, but when/how do you decide it's headed down and thus time to get ...

Pinbar, Are you using the MT4 strategy tester for that backtesting? The screenshot says Trade Sim. v.2.0, which I could not find, and learnforexhome.com seems blank. I'd like to do similar testing. Thanks.

Well done 5.25! Can I ask you, were you trading strictly PA setups (pin bars, outside bars, etc?) What was your risk % per trade? Keep up the good work and report back again, it is inspiring.

Thanks, Jim, great chart. How do you trade off this type of set up? You had good reason to believe 9500 would be strong resistance. The green bar came close but failed. The red bar made another weak attempt and failed. At what point would you decide ...

Can someone suggest a broker who uses GMT+1 (or GMT-3) for their server time? I'm trying to run four sets of 4H charts. Every broker I've tried seems use GMT, GMT+2, or GMT+3. Thanks.

DMC, What they mean is price must be 30 pipettes (fractional pips) away, which is the same as 3 pips. So no change. Their wording is confusing now that they have 5 digit pricing.

Osman, It doesn't wow me. Both wicks are almost equal size, making it more of an indecision bar. I would like lower wick to be longer, stick out more. Distance from pin bar break to FTA is somewhat small. I prefer the eur/jpy daily setup, though it ...

Doom, I'm not sure why you say this setup failed. If you put your SL below the wick you would not have been stopped out. It would have taken a few days to play out, but eventually it went up. That said, I agree with atc and Pinbar that this wasn't a ...

CHF/JPY daily DBHLC — I don't often spot a true DBHLC on the daily. This occurs at a swing high and near the 61.8 Fib and the 365 EMA. The bear bar engulfs the previous 3 bars. The close looks weak though. I would like to see a stronger close, ...
