    Bytebodger, A thought-provoking concept you have developed.. thanks! I would like to ask if your number counting ever resets to zero - technically, we could have very large numbers if we use hourly bars and have been in an up/downtrend for weeks.

    Hi WHTenn, Thanks for the link. I do know about candlestick charting but what I was confused about was Northenstar stating that he does not trade hammers, dojis and shooting stars, but price only. Aren't these different forms of price action?

    Oh, yes the past 2 trades were losses and the current one (as of ~2am EST)is not looking too good either. I assume this is your intraday trading system while you employ other methods for longer term trades?
