Gartley just wrapping up on EURUSD.

Took a loss on the YM. I was trading the completion of the AB=CD trying to get long. The rotation candle was too good and I did have a funny feeling about it. Either way, I had a basis that I entered the trade on. -40 points

Was able to squeeze in a quick trade today. 32 points on YM.

Ended up getting stopped out of this one for about 300 points of fun money.

Shorting the YM off of the ABCD completion. I don't do much swing trading on the YM, so this is demo. Process is the same though regardless of time frame.

I agree, the commissions add up pretty quick. I mainly trade it because of the flexibility to scale my position size. My account isn't big enough to trade the YM that way.

The X-A on this Gartley was a long one. None the less all of the ratios were in tact and the expectation of the pattern played out.

I believe this is a potential butterfly, but when trading this pattern, were does the stop go since "D" completes at the 1.61 and is a expectation failure?
