you seem to be missing my point for want of making yours--which was running a backtest will show tdhowl this strategy will probably never ever work. precisely what placing it on an M15 chart looks to have done.

i had a feeling you might show up. he's using a strategy based on zigzag. a backtest should be sufficient to show him the likelihood of long-term success.

of course demo test it before going live, if at all. but backtesting it in the MT4 strategy tester doesn't put any funds at risk. it just runs your EA against historical data to see how it would have performed.
