I guess it's becuase we seem to be in a bit of a consolidating market, but I've had 5 trades stopped at BE over the last month that were in good profit (75p or more) - while waiting on a big push. I just don't know wether to be a purist with a TSL ...

Nice! Enjoy the free trade. How do you plan to manage your trade from here (just curious because this is my weakest skillset)?

I notice everyone closing their shorts from yesterday... Were you guys getting worried it won't pull through, or were they stopped out by TSL?

Looking good so far! I jumped in with you earlier at 1.3953 after seeing it reject the 1.40 level.

Those of you looking for 1.4000, are you basing that off the upper trendline? My upper trendline is at 1.3993, and I don't like to put entry orders at 1.4000 without watching price action ... so are you guys just setting entry orders or are you ...

My bet is that will be a good trade, but I want to see more price action indicating it's still headed down in the short/mid term. Hopefully I'll be in shortly and you'll be 50p in the black ;-) good luck and happy hunting Moose

Anyone else notice this thing is hangin' on to the 4H 50% fib from 1.4171 to 1.3748? As I would say when price seems to love a line I've drawn on a chart ... I believe it's "self aware" I'm still looking for a long around 1.3600, but am I crazy for ...

I'm guessing the 1.4200 got stopped out? Did you AH back in? I'm long 1.4115...

Just something I wrote real quick. PM me if you would like more information, I'd be happy to share. You should check to see if your broker allows you to manage positions over the phone ... just one potential solution. Sounds like your windows mobile ...

I have access to charts while at work, but I use an EA to send me a text message when price reaches a certain level anyway. This way, it's a simple reminder to look at the charts when price is in a certain region (or a wake up call while I'm ...

Thanks again Dan... I think I must've been confusing some posts I've read on this thread that would lead me to believe entering as you past round numbers is OK. So to clarify... Right now I'm looking for longs around 1.3300 (major confluence of S/R ...

Dan, Thanks for the quick and informative response! I think my problem is more related to when the market is heading in my direction. Rather than pullbacks, what happens when you want to get in at a price that is above you (for longs) or when a ...

I have a question about the round numbers. I've struggled with this because round numbers seem to be a natural S/R point. So when price starts to reach a new level (1.3500, 1.3600, etc), it tends to bounce off round numbers, which proves to be bad ...

I'm with you Jellybean. I think my problem is patience though. I see we're in a short-term bullish channel, but I just don't know what level to wait for. I thought the trendlines would be good, but it blasted through them and now appears to be ...

image Being an FNG here, I had a question given our current state of, as Jacko said, head nodding. It looks as though things are wedging down with the bull channel providing the support and the bear trend providing resistance. Is this a time to be ...

Sailor/Bully, Thanks for your quick and informative responses! Like I said, I'm reading the backlogged stuff to learn from it, but I like to keep up with the current stuff as well. Lots of good information here - thanks again for the help. Moose

Howdy all! This is my first post on the forum here, I've been reading for a while and trying to catch up with all of the backlogged messages in this thread (which is wonderful), but I've noticed some people referring to a 50p tsl and others a 100p ...
