I think beginners these days are even more greedy as before. People have a big misconception about forex. They just want to be rich quickly but just end up blowing their accounts because of lack of knowledge and too much greed.

Well yes, to some extent. It keeps you calm and composed and that helps you stay less affected by emotions and make right decisions. However results might be subjective.

For me, 2 % is safe, the max i can assume is 2.5% anything more than this can be a disaster.
