Paul That is a great question. I have come to realize that this is BY FAR my biggest obstacle. For me, it comes down to two things....1) the need to be right, and 2) the fear of loss (ie prematurely exiting a trade only to watch it shoot off in the ...

You MUST be stopped

Hi Clive The entry part of the method I understand (although I tend to still forget pertinent rules). It is the take profit I stuggle with. I know you tend to watch price action closely when you are in a trade (example...if price starts to stall, or ...

Clive Nice to see you back. Hope all is well. Miss your very informative charts. Even your last post about getting into a trade after the ma's cross or color change reminded me to do this (I was getting in way after a big move and suffered). Just ...

Hi Mark I'm new to this system too but will give it a shot. I can point out the obvious. Add the 175 lwma and only take trades in its direction when the color of the 35 matches. Look for strong trends (ie when the 175 has a good slope). One thing I ...

Does winning a lottery or robbing a bank count?
- petera replied Oct 24, 2015
Hi Clive Can I ask you a question about an....ahum....indi. The strength meter on the right side of the screen. I notice it does it to yours too. There are 8 currencies but only 6 show, sometimes 2 are bunched one on top of each other, etc. Kinda ...

Hi Clive I guess it comes down to a traders personality. If you want to trade every possible signal, then the 35 lwma only. If you want to filter to only higher prob trades, add the 175 lwma and trade in its direction. The TTIndi is yet another ...

Hi Again In the settings, look at the last 2 options in the settings table. You can add the suffix/prefix here. I hope this works (btw......it is the weekend so the charts won't refresh....don't mean to state the obvious). Peter

Hi Iak Exactly which indicator did you actually download. Actually just noticed from your charts above that the suffixes may be the problem. There is an explanation on how to set it up but you have to deal with the suffixes (e.g eurusdsb) Peter

DT I don't get it. Why are you posting these charts that have nothing to do with Clive's system. Respectfully, why don't you start your own thread, and anyone interested can follow you there. Peter

Clive Thanks for the explanation on how to set up the TTIndy. I was curious, if I set the charts to open up say the top 8 automatically, if I were in a trade and the pair that was in the top 8 suddenly isnt, will my chart (which I have an open trade) ...

Paul I love your post. You managed to put into words how I have been feeling all this time. Great great questions. Clive has been incredible in taking the time to answer questions in excellent detail. I would absolutely love to see him conduct a ...

Well said Capstone I am reading Clive's thread because I like his methodology. I like short time frames. That being, longer time frames work well for many people but that is not the intent of this thread. So I agree, Devon should take his ...

Hi I just found this thread and the scripts are exactly what I was looking for. Problem is that as soon as a trade is submited either I get an error sign based on lot size calculated or if the trade does open, it is immediately closed. Anyone else ...
