There is another thing that really puzzled me is the UseCloseOldest (default is False). Have anyone tries to set this to True and compare the outcome with when it set to False? Thanks!

Thanks SD. I found what the problem were. They are all related to the Broker I am using - Alpari UK. 1. I am using Alpari UK as my broker. They cannot accept 0.01 lot. Minimum lot accepted for classic demo account in Alpari is 0.1 lot. 2. For some ...

It really depends on how you set Entry 0. In my setup, I set the followings for Entry 0: UseEntry0=True UseHAScross=False UseHASdirection=True UseIXO1cross=True UseIXO1direction=True UseIXO2cross=0 These mean EA only trade when IXO1 crossed, HAS and ...

Griswold, the EA did what it is supposed to do. This is Basket trading, where we open all pairs in the basket according to strength of all pairs. Having said that, seller9 is also doing some mods to the EA so that for some pairs in the basket, we ...

Seller9, In order to test different basket pairs, can you modify the Indicator "Basket_Multi_indy_ET.ex4" so that we can rename the basket accordingly? All basket are now name as "#BT#14,H1" in the offline chart. For example, if we want to test AUD ...

There is no changes in HAS or IXO to permit auto entry by the EA. You can open a long or short basket manually (CRTL 1 or CRTL 2) using the EA.

I have been testing Seller9 EA for a week now. As for your basket pairs, I put in the pairs into Seller9's template, correct? Do you place open basket manually using seller9's EA or do you wait for entry0?

Seller9, I closed the basket before end of trading day last Friday and these 3 currency pairs (EG, UC and UJ) were closed in loss. So, in your TDI study, all other pairs have green line above yellow in TDI?

Maybe this is the viable way to backtest the EA. What we can do for a start is to make a record of every entry/exit time of a 14pair basket on H1 for let say 12 months duration. After that, we can start distributing workload as to who will test each ...
