USD/JPY is climbing. Strong resistance 112.00 is in front of it, but if it breaks it strongly it may go up till 114. Not exactly according to the rules of the board, but maybe worth keeping an eye on.

I sold my USD/JPY today with a measly profit. It shows a doji on HA chart now, and it usually means change of direction. I keep my 2nd GBP/USD running, with a 50 pips SL now.. It is in good profit 220 pips.

Not much reaction to NFP - there was no reason. Let's see if the "most apparent" rate hike (Dec 14) is already baked in USD, or will it run more next week. Have a nice weekend!

Take a look for example Babypips.com school, where they explain risk management. It is not a clear and easy question. Experience has shown me I cannot use a fixed risk/reward ratio, but I adjust it in various situations, e.g if you open a buy at a ...

G/U looks strong up for today. I keep USD index (DXY) open on the screen all time. It tells a lot about the market.

I have the same problem (GMT+2). I normally have to wait untill 6-7 o'clock my time when I wake up and see the situation. If the potential trades have run too much, I'll pass the trades for the day. Sometimes you still can get a good entry during ...

So it seems! Good for you : ) i sold AUD/NZD and bought USD/JPY today - both in profit now and I leave them there. U/J may run to 115, albeit USD seems a bit exhausted.

How right you are! But in my experience it takes long boring time to really catch and learn it. A good mentor to a beginning trader is worth of gold. Here we can try to find one (hint: BK8) - and also LISTEN TO other experienced traders what they ...

Don't fret about daily losses, this is about MONTHLY profits. Be PATIENT and do not quit trades too early, the price does not go straight up or down, and can turn next day in your favour. Use SMALL positions, so you can use bigger SL. Calculate the ...

Jure86. This is not a signal service - you need to use your BRAINS to consider if you take a trade strictly according to the rules - OR if you need to use some exceptions. Not one system works always according to its rules. This is a very good basic ...

Shimmering. Look at the upper bar on the site and click the number with a paperclip (1,774 at the moment). There you can see all the indicators etc., which are published on this thread.

Folks. Please add the name of the pair to the text commenting your pictures. Sometimes it is difficult to see what pair the chart presents, and needs to click a bigger picture. To avoid that give the pair's name.

I use too Heiken Ashi to check the charts. It shows clearly when the trend is weakening, and very often it draws a clear doji - NOT always - when the trend is turning.

Check with a lower timeframe candle - e.g. 1H - where it closes exactly at 5pm New York time. That's the daily New York closing price - no matter what time your broker's daily candle closes. The price is the same all over the world at a certain ...

What time of day did you open your trades? Opening trades in my timeframe (GMT+3) is a bit problematic. I'm (usually) sleeping when the new daily candles open, and when I wake up the in the morning (GMT4-5) the best possibilities to get in early ...
