YES, there are 4 other banks that I am aware of, all UK based. Subprime/Credit Markets is hardly a US issue, as most of the financial products were sold to financial institutions/organizations outside of the United States.

I HIGHLY doubt a rate cut will happen before the 18th. In addition, as the days pass, I am less inclined to believe that the Fed will actually cut rates on the 18th. Btw, this is not a crashing of the market...far from it.
