Bad week.....got burned twice by having my s/l too close as a result of 1% risk rule on my trade size. It really kicks you in the confidence ! Back to the drawing board ! Painful lesson :-(

I'm no economist but surely such universal dollar strength will start to hurt the US at some point - cost of exports etc ? Or is their multi-trillion debt a sign that they simply don't care about that ?

WTF ?!?!?! Industrial Output in reverse ! Manufacturing Output in reverse ! GBP/USD goes...........nowhere !! US data is even slightly positive/ambiguous and USD goes crazy !

To be fair it fluctuates between 2.2 and 1.8 (occasionally 1.5) and no commissions.

Ive realised that stop losses are like sealed bids on houses ! If the guide is £150,000 then your bid should be £150,050. On stop losses if you have a round number....lets say 1.53600 this morning.......it gets hit by 0.00003 !!! SO if I'd had ...

My irreverence aside.....it all seems so static today ! Fluctuating within a very narrow range ! Strong manufacturing PMI out of the US produces a counter-intuitive effect....ie a rise in the GBP !
