i think the market may have overreacted, and the strong dollar won't survive for long. yellen herself said then that the hike will depend on the circumstances. though i'm not sure market heard anything beyond 'six month' right now, once the euphoria ...

This sounds really risky, but tempting, very tempting... Isn't that how "news trading" is done? I heard there are also people who trade the NFP, and also some other employment reports.

i think, best time to trade depends on what pair you trade and how you trade. for example, eur/usd during asian market tend to be calmer than during london/new york hours. it may suit some people, but others may choose another time.

looks like at last, inflation is coming for japan. although it sounds like it is due to demographic issues, no thanks to abenomics. yen bullish will probably go on in long-term...

for the time being, i think we can count russia-ukraine out, at least as long as peace talks go on. and that means ecb and draghi will determine next euro moves.
