Hey Razorjack, Nice thread! I agree with you - You basically get out what you put in, and the vast majority of people on here can't be bothered to do their research it seems. Having read just a couple of pages on this thread I can see that a few ...

A lot of market participants seem to buy the rumor and sell the fact, or vice versa. The best way to test this is to look at daily charts and see how figures such as Interest Rates, GDP q/q & y/y, Trade Balance and Foreign currency reserves affect ...

Hey Silat50, I've been meaning to come back and have another look at this method with a view to writing an EA. Just having a quick look over the beginning of this month for the AUDUSD, I can see a couple of instances where it does work: 8th March, ...

genie, I'm happy for you if you say you can buy cars, lol. But don't make the mistake of thinking nobody else on this forum makes a living from FX. A little humility goes a long way...

Oh and, LOL!

I never said I was "such a great programmer". Why are you being so defensive? I stick to a plan, which keeps things simple and it works for me, but I trade momentum, not patterns so I guess thats where we differ.

Honestly, traders use the term "discretion" as an excuse for not defining a trading plan and sticking to it. IMO, it's nonsensical to guess where the market will go next because you might have seen a similar pattern some time in the past, but you ...

Discretion is not sticking to a plan. Simple

Hey Cal-FX, I was away from my PC and just bought at market when I saw that bullish momentum candle that completed 2 hours ago. I know the preceding PA overshoots the 72 EMA, so its not a textbook entry with regards to this method.
