The spreads are a bit higher than the major pairs, i have seen eur/try anywhere from 3.0-24.00 pip spread. i usually try to get in about 2 hours before the NY session starts. That is when i have noticed it is the lowest. TRY/JPY usually has about 6 ...

Yeah i believe that is correct. So once your profits exceed the principal amount you have initially deposited, the remainder would have to be sent by check or wire. This would be a good problem for most. I am on ECN FXCM (haven't tested the new ...

I only use debit/credit card because it the easiest for me. Haven't been charged anything by fxcm on the standard account. ILQ is short for the broker Institutional Liquidity.

Yeah FXCM Standard and ILQ, both smooth with debit/credit card deposits and withdrawals. Never charged any fees by either broker or my bank.

I have a small"ish" account with ILQ. They have fixed spreads (2.5 EUR/USD - not too bad), and netting (not huge for News stuff). Execution is pretty good and haven't been screwed over yet . Used to trade with FX Sol but this is a little better. I ...

I know this thread is a bit older, but it has some relevant information relating to IRA's. I was considering rolling some funds out, but the process seems a bit painful as far as paperwork goes though. Does anyone have any suggestions from the past ...

Managing other peoples money can be tough opposed to just trading. Signal guys will usually use trade copier for MT4. Which, if you can trade well and have a system that works, it makes it all the better. But, as soon as you have a losing day you ...

The biggest crash for USD is usually Bernanke printing more money . Usually when fear hits the market (S&P downgraded the US), you will see the USD appreciate. If both pairs are "crashing" against each other, there will be a driver behind ...

This pair is definitely a waiting game, but potential can play out quite well. The floor peg almost reminds me of playing penny stock. As long as the floor continues to hold.

Going long on EUR/USD you end up paying the swap, I know its very little. However, from a psychological view it seems to encourage more downside?

With the pairs that have high spreads I usually set a larger take profit ratio, enter/exit during NY/London crossover, and make sure rolls are in your direction. I been trading EUR/TRY lately, not as a scalp, but more of a carry trade.

The announcements that aren't scheduled by Standard and Poor's can get pretty sloppy. The downgrade of the US, which came after hours on a Friday .

As much as we ''hope'' that this pair crashes, I've leaned from the past to never step in front freight carry train. I now just try to run along side it. Today has been quiet, we'll see how the sentiment starts off tonight with CNY CPI and we can ...
