Can't be done with DDE, as each instance of Terminal.exe uses the same DDE name so can't tell which broker the signal comes from. Easiest way is to map all of the "Expert" folders to a common virtual directory. Even use a RAM disk for this for added ...

Hi Chris, thanks for the reply. I guess the main trading server is at Intervolve in Ultimo? I notice I can host my own 1U server there for $200 a month and am starting to think this would be a good option.

Hi Chris, yes, I am connected to GM Melbourne. Is this the main trade centre? MT4 quotes a ping time of 250ms, but a CMD.exe gives an average of 75ms which is more reasonable. Looks like only 3 hops between my server and the GM boxes, which I assume ...

Hi Chris, thanks for your reply. The ping speed comes from MT4. I was a bit surprised myself. We use Telstra Business ADSL 2+ and our office is on St Kilda Rd. The internet here is usually super fast. I'll get an account with CNS, who seem very ...

Latency — Hi, I've been a GoMarkets client for six months and am happy with the service. The spreads, execution and service are all fine and hard to improve on. I am in Melbourne and get a 227ms ping to GoMarkets. I am thinking of subscribing ...

I've had a live GoMarkets account for a while and am happy with them. The GM iPhone app works fine, but is more suited to occasionally checking the account rather than active trading.

I've been using Go Markets live for a few months and am happy with the spreads, execution and service. They seem quite reputable and honest. I downloaded the iPhone GM MT4 app to my iPhone 3GS with iOS 4.x The iPhone App works OK, but is a little ...

I live in Melbourne and have been using GoMarkets for a few months. I am happy with the spreads, execution and service. Can't really ask for much more. My only criticism is that GM seem to have a lot of "Invalid Tick/Market Data..." error messages ...

I've found GM to be pretty good. Good spreads, good quick execution, very few requotes. No complaints about customer service, I'm pretty happy with them.

Conclusion — Received this response from the vendor of Probability EA: peterc005, This issue was fixed with v7.1.1 (as opposed to v7.1). I initially decreased the Magic Number by 1 each time a cycle was closed (which notified the EA to close ...

I set up an account with forex.com/Gain because I thought they were the most reputable, but after reading this think I was wrong. Definitely shady business practices. When executing manual trades using MT4 on forex.com you can really notice the 1 ...

Still not conclusively proven, but I suspect the problem is Probability EA Here are the reasons: 1) I've turned Probability EA off and on a few times on various accounts, the the times that Probability EA was running appear to correspond with the ...

I copied all of the log files to one server, then did a search for a sample deal #. These were the only references to that deal number, which is a good example of this problem. Now I'm mapping times and accounts when the problem occurred against ...

Below are extracts from the two Logs folders that are an example of what is happening. This EA is FAP Turbo LT. which I've been running for ages and has always been well behaved. The Logs folder shows what MT4 does, which is Open and then Close the ...

This problem has occurred at various times for both forex.com and GoMarkets accounts. Forex.com is a dealing desk broker, while GoMarkets plugs into an ECN. I don't think ECN or non-ECN makes a difference. However, there may be a correlation with ...

Good find 7bit. I'm also running Probability EA and it is different to other EA, in that as it finds a winning position it keeps adding new orders to the position. However, Probability only trades one currency pair - EURUSD M39 from memory. The ...

Probability EA only trades one Currency Pair, whereas the problem happens over a couple of currency pairs. The problem appears to have reappeared after loading Cloverix, but this might be a coincidence. My suspicion is that having too many bars on ...
