It's going to take a lot to break 122 - psychological barrier if nothing else. I went short at 121.90 and have put a stop in to lock in profits already. Meanwhile, I will watch for further retracement. NFP will be interesting tomorrow though....

20 pip bounce upwards on the USDJPY and a 40 pip bounce up on the EURJPY - wow! Many sources were saying the carries might unwind - guess they were wrong! Well, at least for now that is - looks like this might be a bumpy ride!

I agree, but I wonder why the USD is seeing so much strength the recently... GBPUSD down from 2.0, EURUSD down 200 pips in recent times, USDJPY, USDCHF, etc etc, all are seeing strength - when will common sense take over and drive the USD down again?

EURUSD is hitting the bottom of an longer term upward trendline though - I see some short term upside if nothing else myself, but I guess we'll see.
