Mike (or anyone else), just wanted to check something on this, are you looking for it to break the green lines I have drawn or is the IB to the right of the green lines I have drawn? Thanks Verno

Not quite as convincing but a BUOB on USDCAD as the 61.8 fib Well is it actually a BUOB as the bar engulfs the previous but the close isn't above the high of the previous bar? Anyone?

Nice BEOB at swing high on 4 hr GBP with divergence. Break of red line took me short, blue line is first potential trouble point.

I was reviewing one of Mikes breakout videos at the weekend and thought this trade fitted the bill. The breakout level isn't perfectly defined but I figure its a valid PPZ. One chart is daily highlighting level, the other is showing retrace to level ...

Interesting Jaroo, I saw this as a 4hrly short opportunity PB. PB has pushed beyond resitance but rejected. PB has pushed beyond 61.8% around 1.67? I guess your view might be that shorting the PB after the BUOB is not great risk reward?

I have a question on the USDCAD daily PB. So it broke nicely downwards but then retraced. On my chart the green line is the daily PB break and the pink is the double 4 hrly PB. My question is should I be shorting this retrace based on the fact that ...

Looks like that USDCAD 2 day PB might be playing out. I am short but actually from the trendline break on the 4hr. 2 day PB break at green line

One for Ghous or anyone else. IS this a valid IPB? It looks like reasonable location, however it could simply be an IB? It is on barclays so not really valid for FX but more looking at location etc. Does the fact that its an IB help or should it be ...

Nice setup on H4 GBPUSD although it took a while to play out. Also might the strictest rules suggest that the bar after the PB only broke by about 6 pips so might not have been enough to trigger a short and then when the break occured, there were ...

A few people have mentioned the double bottom on USDCAD around PPZ. Looking at the 8hrly we look like we now have a better looking PB. A break of the high would be a good buy signal as we also have divergence and a failure to make any new RSI lows ...

I am not in this anymore but looks like the J16 logic plays out again.

Long GBPUSD on break of PB and trading with the trend. It also validates the bar 3 days ago which wasn't quite a PB.

well there was a reaction to this level but not that significant. I was in and out pretty quickly on the short side. Mainly because I have let a couple of winners go back to BE recently.

Trying a ghous like blind order here. orange lines indicate PPZ and the solid blue line is the 38% retrace of move down from the high. trying a blind short. Lets see how it works. Small profit target.

Just taken this short on USDCAD. Reasoning 2 pinbars at top of range, suggesting a false breakout. Also divergence on RSI. The PB on the 4 hrly isn't great and its against the trend, so I shall watch it carefully.

Another question, is this PB still valid? The high was never broken until now. The low was but not significantly? I appreciate the location may not be fantastic and its a friday on a US holiday so I am not about to trade it, I just wanted to check ...

Thanks Jaroo and ghous, I think the above was the statement I was looking for. On the attached is the bearish OB still valid in the 2nd box? If not what has invalidated it: a) the move downwards to 1.58 region (and if so at what point does this move ...

A question looking at BEOB. Here is one I found on USDCHF. we have now had a retrace of this which actually extended beyone 61.8%. Is this something that we should be looking to play on the long side or because we had a significant retrace then we ...

A 4 hrly PB on my GBPUSD which goes against the BEOB. Oh which one to play, or perhaps both if I was good enough? Or neither due to the location in the middle of a range?
