So, this is a good time to post as I am sitting on my hands waiting for 10:00 (NY) news. It is this process that I have been very bad at in the past. I have a hard time NOT trading. That is where I have gotten in trouble. It was very tempting to ...

That is awesome! It's quite clear now. I appreciate your quick reply. PJ

Dial, It's good to see you have poked your head in here. Interesting, since both you and fxrabbi are two of the people whom I have followed with great respect on the other thread. I think you two are both very helpful to me because of the discipline ...

Yes, the chart is helpful. I think I understand but in regards to rule #22, I am just confused as to how the MACD should be. In the chart that was posted by bubincka the MACD indicator is green but quite small. Is it the color or something more you ...

Yomi, Can you please clarify what you look for in regards to the PVA indicator? I have looked back over about 100 of your posts and I can't find a full explanation. I have looked at the notes inside the mq4 file that explain the colors, but what ...

@Bubincka I too was looking at this trade at the time. I only didn't take it because of the DP and the way price had reacted it previously. Also, this was the only pair of the four that still had room to go in respect to ADR so I was thinking that ...

Wow! Not sure why they would throw you into commercial content. Seems very unfair! PJ

I feel good that you said that, Yomi. I am in the NY time zone, so I only trade NY session, but I looked over the London session and came to the same conclusion. The opening gap was quite big and the only setups have come with the ADR looking ...

Great start fxrabbi. I have been following the Udine thread for a while and while I haven't been successful, it isn't because of the system. It has been because I keep trying to tweak every method or system I try. My issue with the regular 00 level ...

Subscribed. Looks interesting.

I don't trade this system after London close. I sometimes dig into my other trading tools to find something later in the day but mostly I feel that the good trades are done after noon NY time, which corresponds to the London close.

I only trade NY session, but nothing for me today.

To add to HanSolo's answer to your question, the rules are that we stay away from any pair that is associated with the red news, which would make your example okay. However, there are some news events (like NFP) that have an effect on the broader ...

Great work Swingman. I am finding this to be a great tool. I was just wondering if there is an issue with the "trading hours". I noticed in one of your posts you said you will fix hours problem later. Was that if reference to the Asia time issue, or ...

Thanks. I guess with technology, there is no excuse.

Hello all, It occurred to me after seeing Diallist's recent post regarding lurkers, that I have been reading this thread for quite a while without ever posting. My apologies to Udine and everyone else here. I am really a bad typist and it takes me a ...

Thanks! Yes, it has been the discipline that I have most struggled with. Commitment is there, as you can see by how long I have been a member of FF. Good point on the meticulous trade execution. Often I have caught myself just trading for the sake ...

These charts are after the fact, but I wanted to show how I am approaching my analysis with a "whole picture" or "top-down" look. First of all, I need to preface this with the fact that I am more inclined to the shorter term, which in itself puts me ...
