Really overextended from the 20EMA on the hour chart so put a sell in at 1.225. Hoping it will get to 1.204. B/E already reached.

I said nothing about making millions from trading a few hours a month. No idea where you got that from? So, rather than me wording things better perhaps you instead should work on your comprehension of the English language? Your patronising, ...

Please stop patronising me. You did it in your first reply, and you continue to do so here. Do not assume I do not spend time looking at charts. Do not assume I also do not love Forex trading. And, I said easier. Not easy.

One thing I can't understand is why people scalp? Who can be bothered to sit there all day staring at charts? Surely most people come to Forex in search of an easier life? Scalping would be just way too time consuming for me. I prefer weekly charts. ...

Got a short in at 1.114 on the back of the strong USD data released last Thursday. Unless some deal breaks with Brexit over the next few weeks (which I doubt), or strong Eurozone figures are released on Thursday then I imagine the Euro continue ...

Is this a real account? If so, 1 lot size is not a 'small' order (unless you've got a huge amount of capital?).

Oh, one more quick thing...I probably won't post many updates on this thread. It was more of a thread to say it's worth looking at higher time-frames rather than me delving into my own strategy. I couldn't be doing with the hassle of that as I ...

I wouldn't touch that one. Hopefully, from my reply above you can see why? If not, my reason is: 1. The final bull candle did exceed the 52 week high. There was no sign of any reversal from that candle (equal wicks both ends etc.) So... 2: When the ...

Nope, I just eyeball it. It's difficult for me to explain in words so, I'll post a chart to explain one of my entries. From this chart: image 1. Position 1 shows the candle has closed under the 52 week low. In fact, it's the lowest the price has ...

Just a quick update...my first couple of weekly trades have gone how I expected. I may only place a handful of orders in a year, but I'd rather quality over quantity! For others who are struggling take a look at the weekly charts to see if you can ...

Thanks. Then, you're giving me hope! It's difficult to differentiate between those who are making a living from Forex, in comparison to those who they they will make a living from Forex. I imagine many of those who claim to be successful ...

I don't think anyone wins long-term? I've yet to meet anyone on these boards that's been trading for 10+ years and making a full-time living. Maybe I'm wrong? I wouldn't mind being so this time! I'm still using demo accounts for all kinds ...

I think I've just started to make my own rules up. Thanks again for sharing your system. I think I'm just adapting it to my style. I'll stop posting on here as it will confuse people who want to follow your strategy as it is.

Have you ever thought about: Buy Price is above the 100EMA on all three time-frames. Buy on price touching the 100EMA low. 1:3 minimum R/R. B/E @ 50% of S/L. Sell Price is below the 100EMA on all three time-frames. Sell on price touching the 100EMA ...

I think it's all nonsense. Just as good odds as playing roulette. I've yet to see anyone on any of these boards that's proven to have made a living with Forex for 10+ years. It may be possible...but I doubt it's skill - just pure luck. I think ...

Placed a sell on WTI. Price also breached a minor support level so I'll see how this one plays out. The lack of volume in the markets is a slight concern though.

Got my eye on this one too. Hopefully it will reach oversold on Monday/Tuesday. The three orders I've placed with this method so far have reached BE. ETA: I'm going by the 4hr chart.

Really promising so far. Hopefully it'll remain profitable for the next 3 months. I'm sticking with the original instructions of following the trend.

Hi. This looks interesting, thanks for sharing. Trying this strategy on demo (4 hr charts) with a few of my own rules: 1. I'm still following the rules of ensuring price is below/under the EMA on the three time-frames. But: 2. I'm waiting for the ...

I've learnt it's a mugs game and nothing more than glorified gambling. I'm going to withdraw my money before I throw it down the drain with the fallacy that you can 'win' at Forex. I'll look to invest it elsewhere.
