pivots — hi, just wanted to know whether ppz employed in some of these PA trades are set discretionary looking at multiple swing reversals on higher time frames, or whether you actually use coventional computed pp's on the larger time frames ...

1h pin is forming right now. it feels early though. would like to see it come back to 50% fib and right into the pivot zone. Anyone takes this one at break?

cable: there is also nice fib confluence of last two major swings around 4415, right in the ppz. would not be surprised by strong move back to 4620.

Will bounce at the 4420 and retrace to 4620. Then slower leg down. I stay put for now - risk reward not attractive for last swing down.

same story here, entered at .4595. took away 2/3 of the position and keep the remaining one trailing. As I said many posts back I feel that we are very close or have already entered an unwinding cycle of the classic carry trades. I would not be ...

No hard and fast rules in my case. If the PA is at a spot where I am greatly convinced that it will work I enter on the retrace, otherwise I try to wait for the break of the outermost bar involved in the PA pattern. In addition I try to enter only ...

Carry — Hi everyone, todays PA looks like we will be getting bullish pins on the dailies for the yen. I do not know what to make of them. In general over the last months such PA has resulted in good entries. My feeling, though, is that ...

I agree, but unfortunately am miles away from managing this art myself yet. At the end of the day any movement in a highly efficient market resembles a random walk, and the forex markets are among the most efficient markets you can find. I recently ...

GBP/CHF Pin — This Weekly Pin comes right at the previous highs and not far from the 61.8 fib level of the major bear swing from 2000 to 2003. The daily exhibits a dbhlc (not exactly but in this pair on a daily <10 pips is pretty close). If it ...

Recent USD/CAD & AUD/USD Pins — Mike, I reckon the current 4h pin in USD/CAD would fall nicely into that favourite category of yours. Can you confirm that? Also thanks for your comments re my question about the recent/current pin setup in ...

AUD pins — Does anyone have supporting reasons why to take this countertrend daily pin in the making? Similarly EUR/AUD showing an 8 hour pin very close to being completed. Seems like AUD might have lost its upward momentum for the time being. ...

EUR/CHF Weekly, Monthly PB? — EUR/CHF might have topped out last week. Any opinions re these strong reversals (eventually completed Pin Bar set ups?) in weekly and monthly timeframes? Last week's Daily PB was confirmed and yielded nice return. ...

Eur/chf Be Pb — Looks like a nice bearish pin bar off the 61.8% Fibo Exp of the last upswing. Currently though the price does not seem to correspond. What do you think, is it worthwhile putting an order in at the retracement below the pin bar? ...

NZD/USD — Hi, I wanted to post a setup and maybe get some of the more experienced members opinion. Also I would like to know whether in your opinion several equally directed signals within a short time frame (see chart) do add to the expected ...

CHF/JPY — New here. Nice setup in the daily CHF/JPY. I am not sure but it looks to me like a pin bar (with a doji and engulfing bullish bar), followed by a dlhc and a subsequent break of the upper channel trendline. Am I reading that chart ...
