Simple rule I learned that has dramatically changed the way I trade: If you're losing money, you're trading too much. Use this logic to consistently find ways to filter out the bad trades you are making. And keep repeating the process. A lot of ...

The forums are full of people that will convince you why certain plans and ideas don't work. Because the people that have working systems keep them to themselves. I don't plan on discussing my WIP with anyone.

I had this same issue, fortunately still on demo account. I'm planning on starting on a real account on Monday, and my workaround for this issue is to put my laptop in Airplane Mode before launching MT4. Charts still open even though your internet ...

Martingale is like the ugly girl when you're drunk. Looks really nice at first. Then the next day you realize what a horrible mistake you've made.

Right now, schedule is from 6pm(Sept 23)-2pm(Sept 24). This means, I closeout the day 3 hours before date rolls over, and restart 1 hour after. 6pm New York(Sept 23) = 10pm GMT() (Sept 23) = 11pm London (Sept 23) = 7am Tokyo (Sept 24) = 8am Sydney ...

Also, I'm running a trade schedule on V3Q. Starting at -22:00, ending at 17:59. It works out to 6pm New York - 2pm New York, or Auto-Trading from 2 hours after market open to 2 hours before market close, with all trades closing when schedule ...

Using V3P CRS midpoint and gap strategy. Basket TP/SL, no trade TP/SL. Very loose limit on maximum number of trades (10), but I'm thinking of making it higher, and only adding on to winning positions. As you can see, I rode one wave for 1200 pips. I ...

Anyone else noticing issues with JPY pairs? I think EA sees all pairs as 5 digits instead of JPY pairs as 3 digits. I notice when I put safety TP/SL at 20 pips for example, it treats it as 2.0 pips for AUDJPY

What indicator provides these details on a panel? Forgive me for asking a question that may have already been answered. I've searched this thread unsuccessfully for my answer.

Very interesting read. I am guilty of being lazy when it comes to position management. I set my SL and TP, then walk away. I'm considering ways I can objectively decide my trade is not succeeding and scale out. Would you consider % distance towards ...

This is an interesting scalping strategy. Easy to glance over charts and find the best setup. It's tough trying to stick to all the rules, so I found having several charts and choosing the best one to follow every few minutes has helped me to stay ...

Very interesting. I'll be following. Lately, I've been trying to use less indicators and I've been finding great success.
