Currency Grail Scalping System

Hi i found this strategy and it seems interesting, i understand that it says not to use a stop loss but i was wondering could someone make a ea with these rules but add a stop loss, so we could play with it and see if it has potential everything is explained in the pdf

i found the pdf here https://c.mql5.com/forextsd/forum/16...ing_system.pdf

Have you traded this system successfully?

Moolah Nov 20, 2019 11:54am | Post# 3

haven't used it long enough to give you a honest answer, but i have traded it the last week with all wins but that is normal because of the no stop loss just would like to see a ea so i can check how often a big drawdown would come

Have you made any profits trading your system yourself. would be nice to know if its something already making some good returns and not just hypothetical

not my system, and my answer is right above you

Thank you, seems interesting and I think every trader can bring something from this and adapt to the personal trading style.

Not very many "perfect set-ups". You could be waitin' a long time to pick up 5 pips. Also, the guy mentioned something about paying affiliate marketing commissions for his "book". Where did you get this?

What time Frame do you refer to?

peterhenders Nov 20, 2019 4:29pm | Post# 10

first question mostly asked is " is there an indicator?"
second most ask question " is there an ea/"
third most is "What time frame?"
Common sense is just forgotten

what is wrong asking for time Frame?

15 MIN 30 MIN 1 HR 4 HR DAILY WEEKLY
1 PIP 2 PIPS 5 PIPS 20 PIPS 50 PIPS 200 PIPS
Note: The chart above shows conservative profit targets only.
Obviously more pips can be usually acquired, but the figures above
will ensure no-losses; those pips will be gained. Once you become
more experienced, increase the pips at your own risk but remain
conservative not greedy. For example, 10 pips on the 1 HR chart can
usually be gained and 50 pips on the 4HR chart can usually be
gained. Avoid however changing the pip ammount on the lower
timeframe of 15 min or 30 min. Also, even though the pips gained
might seem low, don’t forget that profits do indeed add up over
time because of a) frequent set-ups and b) you can trade multiple
currency pairs at the same time if you work quickly and c) profits
will increase depending upon your lot size and leverage.

I was looking at the H1 charts ... I just entered a trade a few hours ago and the chart is attached. That pic shows it nearly hitting my TP ... you can see that the spread stresses the TP. It went on to win, but I only made ~$16.

The setup candles were the 2nd and 3rd candles back from the vertical blue line.

And that wasn't a "perfect setup" ... obviously.

First bar, open price match lowest price, not a perfect setup

Leandro951 Nov 21, 2019 12:02am | Post# 20

A really interesting price action method, not some stupid holy grail indicator and this setup can be visual backtest too, author's website has been downed, hope he dont mind our discussion here. Hope someone can make an simple indicator base on this.
