Of course, all I have written is for future improvement. We are waiting for version 1.02. Good job!

{quote} For example your support regarding user guide has helped me a lot. {image} I hope you'll review the new version too. When it get ready of course. All the best, Joe
Hello JoeeF, first of all thank you very much for your hard work.

I've tested the EA with your JF Framework, but I don't know how to optimize the EA. The market change very often and I like to test the strategies with a Walk Forward Optimization. How to do it with the JF Framework? I've read your manual and no words about optimization.

Thanks!
Pedro.

I'm sorry. I can't understand. You cannot test the EA with my framework. You can only test EA based/built on my framework.

And which one did you test?

but I don't know how to optimize the EA.
This is far beyond the topic of this thread. At least for now. It would confuse a lot of users. We need to start regular processes. We didn't solve proper entries for now for example.

Yes. User Guide I've shared publicly is only about installation and configuration. Anyway, there are complaints that this User Guide is too difficult. If I'd share publicly more advanced stuff ...

regards

The backtest is easy to do with your Framework. The User Guide is very clear, no matter with that.
But what I miss is a way to optimize the EA (JF4XTrader, JFBuySellStop, JFFramaRibbon)
All the EA's are very well programmed, but the parameters cannot last for ever.
How to optimize them?

your EA dashboard is set on the 1h time frame. Is it trading the 1H? BTM is 15m.

Please read the first post.

EA is configured from XML configuration file. Not from chart. For EA is irrelevant on which chart has been put (symbol/period).

Thank you.

Optimization is very complex question. I'm too tired now and this really isn't good place for it.
One big issue are indicators and their behavior.
In one JF4XTrader you can run many strategies for example.
You can simultaneously operate multiple terminals from a wrapper that has been created in C++ for example.

JoeeF, when you think 1.02 will be ready to test?

JoeeF, when you think 1.02 will be ready to test?
It will be in a few hours. However, I'm very careful with predictions of release time. The last time I was late more then two days ...
Take care.

In a new version everyone will be able to set his own required RRR. However, patience is in the trading a must.
