{quote} Try with placing the SL on the last high (above/below Williams) after a signal shows up. What I mean is, when you get a signal look back at the last high/low when the Williams was above/below the -80/-20 line. Most likely those that hit SL would close as a loss anyway and in most cases the loss would be lower with a SL Give it a try if you can, interested in the result.
Will not forget to test this...after I fixed problems with the entries on 28 pairs which roobed really much time I have problems with the exits....but after fixing this I ll do this....

Hi Salimc

The results I post are still demo results, I have not funded my live accounts to the level I want, to trade this EA live. I am hoping to achieve this in the New Year.

Presently the EA is making just under 6% per month, that is a good return, I am happy with that.

That's nice to know.
So now you do you trade manually with your previous William % system ? In that case what is its monthly return?
Thanks
Salim

Hi Reteid
Could you please post the latest version of your Williams EA for those who wish to keep testing it.

Thanks, Chris.

Hi Chris

Interesting system. Is the above results based on trading Gold M15 - Daily?

I know backtesting should be taken with a pinch of salt. However, have you backtested it over the last couple of years?

I think with time one can probably expect some parameter drift, would be interesting to do a parameter analysis in NT8 to see the range of profitable parameters for robustness

How often does that occur? What about a max SL additionally to the WPR exit?

reteid2222 Oct 30, 2019 4:12am | Post# 752

Rarely but heavy losses and in multiple pairs....this crashes the account....I ll try a fixed sl or sl under the min/max of last X candles...

Here is an Excel worksheet covering the P/L for each week starting from June 05 2019 (first 4 weeks are grouped together).

The graph shows the P/L for each week.

Thanks Lewis...

So this is showing ROIs for weekly culmulative and weekly ROI avg. and monthly ROI avg.

If this is correct then this is very encouraging.
