This is exactly what I'm talking about. I need to get up to date with the flow this type of news. Though this move would have occurred without that news. I sensed it on H4, reason I closed my morning sell order @30+ pips. But never had the confidence to go long. D1 is still screaming bear. This bull action may be short-lived

A very obvious SL hunt. The day's high prior to the spike was 1.1215. SLs would have been kept few pips above there and guess what? Price spikes and takes off those stops and now falling. Work did not let me see 1.122x. For the life of me I would have shorted the madness out of it!

It can spike even more and it is still a short for me.

I have closed all my left over longs at 60 pips profit. Not a great situation with some trades closed at a loss, nevertheless something. Initial signs for me show that we could go into a short cycle. I have opened a short trade s/loss 20 pips and could open some more on pullbacks with confirmation of my blue and magenta line cross. 1.1200 is strong support and needs to go for Bears to really shift into gear. Hi Guys,
My current situation. I have added some some shorts today as per my previous post at London open. I must say all looked great until the so called Trump tweet. All in all a sturdy profit of 100+ pips reduced to rubble. If you are a scalper and I am sure most of you are, you would have booked handsome pips. Nevertheless all is not lost for me as I still feel that we could go into a short cycle from here. 1.1200 now becomes crucial for a daily close below and 1.12166 for a daily close above for longs. I still have my future daily pivot below today's pivot 1.12157 currently sitting at 1.12021 ish. Significant is that my daily pivot is moving below my weekly pivot at 1.12166 and monthly pivot at 1.12163. For those of you that have seen my postings over the months, I am getting a cross of my blue and magenta line to the down side and currently am looking at adding sell trades with a retrace of my fast 4Hr Rsi. Anyway a picture speaks a thousand words. These levels are not easy and there will be a lot of stop hunts.

Hi Guys!! hope all is well.. Keep this count/scenario in mind. Don't write off bulls yet. Flats are disconcerting in so many ways, it is hilarious sometimes. As many of us, I got stopped by Trump's auto tweet earlier but managed to book 17 pips as I was cautious from 1.121 and trailed it down. The massive retrace that was probably a stop hunt was a great opportunity in my opinion to get back in around the 1.1215 level (same as this morning)
A close below 1.12 would be a clear bear signal for the coming days according to my analysis and indicators, but more important would be an H1/H4 close below today's low. (1.118). Maybe tomorrow?

The day bar closed above Tenkan, but below Kijun. This suggests uncertainty. Probably Thursday EUR/USD will hold in a narrow range. And on Friday will move on the result of the release of the consumer confidence Index of the University of Michigan.
