Show me a profitable Expert Advisor! YES, Show me a profitable Trade Explorer / Myfxbook link or Screenshot of a Expert Advisor you have used on your Life account. No matter if it is bought, selfcoded or found on the Internet. Just like to see results. Have a nice Weekend. |
This one looks promising IMO: https://www.forexfactory.com/piranotrader/16 It needs a little bit more history but after 5 months it looks interesting and realistic. |
Reasons: 1. You can "feel" the activity and make better decisions 2. You know where the announcements are due and factor these into your decisions 3. You can see the SR points and work off these. 4. Some days of the week trade better than others. You need to build this into an EA 5. Some weeks of the month trade better than others. This generally relates to announcements and news releases 6. Certain months provide a greater trading range than others. Unless your EA is programmed for this, you will find profitable trades going negative. With all of this said, EA's can be a good second string method to back up your manual trading but you need to switch them on/off according to above. |
http://www.myfxbook.com/members/fxch...eurusd/1744841 - I think it has a martingale factor in it, history is opened and lot size traded is 0.1 - 9.6, but still looks too good to be true. If I would belive it, I d buy it, but nobody with a sane mind would sell it. So if someone says what is wrong and where is the fish smell coming from - thanks. http://www.myfxbook.com/members/Algo...ive-ea/1373958 - history hidden, hard to make any comments. |
If you had designed and coded an algorithm that consistently made money for you, would you give it away? or even sell it? |

Also on wisdomtrading.com, there are some CTAs. Best one I saw was Heisenberg. 60% p.a. (over more than 10 yrs )in the futures market I believe. Min investment 500k USD. F**king unbelievable. I work for probably the largest wealth manager and when I see the investment funds (mutual and HFs) I can't understand why we push this crappy sh*t at 1-6% p.a. knowing there are skilled multi-strategy automated systems. |
|
I hope you find one and I believe there are a few out there that are insanely good. The market is made up of 75% automated trades and the rest us old retards. If you can't beat them, join them. |
the best thing to do is code your own... Who is going to give away or even sell the Golden Goose? |
So no need to stop here, show me your profitable Experts on life accounts. As we all know the Demo killers. |
I really think that there is no long term profitable EA. Because markets change, you have to adapt. |

here is one free http://bit.ly/getdragonexpert it belongs to mr dragonexpert. i think you will shit in your pants while getting the super impressive 1k% he recently won... mr dragon is a Real Dragon! it takes Real Dragon Heart to trade the lots he did trade with his EA. so, it is not the EA, it is the size of your pants, really. the bigger the pants - the better... btw, mines are small, if this matters. |
I used it on demo - yes, nice profit. If 5k doesnt matter to you, you could gamble that and win big. As long as you know when to stop. Very similar behavior to other martingale EA-s. Like Blessing, Tomīs EA, Trio Dancer, many Ilan versions etc. |
