{quote} Hi ikdenk. Just a quick note... Candles only reflect the BID price. The spreads will not have any effect on the pivots, as the the Open, High, Low and Close.....are all BID prices. Spreads will only affect the ASK price levels.....which aren't reflected in the candles so will not be taken into account when the pivots are calculated. I hope that helps. Cheers.

way too over complicated. these are weekly

Yeah, still have EA short that's got the tight ranging blues and AJ Long that's out of gas with same dilemma. Seems like all this crap started with the Trump-Xi Trade War. We're become the victims. {image}
Same boat here.

Bubincka, Truly we are tested for the decisions we made and our tolerance because of those decisions. However, we never control the market. Yes still in DD but that's part of the game we play. While I'm testing the market, the market is testing me. Yep, still in it to win it. At least my Bitcoin is doing well currently.

Excellent article Davit, thanks for sharing. Its absolutely crazy how world leaders are using social media platforms to deliver absurd messages driving the bearings of a multi trillion dollar industry, not to mention the capital markets.
I've taken some blows on the chin last 2 weeks, JPY then AUD and CAD trades. In hindsight should have stayed on sidelines and waited for clear PA closes to dictate direction.

I know we don't trade indicies here (neither do I normally) but given the FX market is shambles (for me anyway although now looks to be moving in the right direction) im looking elsewhere to make a quick buck. Whilst GU tanks FTSE usually gains due to the number of multinationals listed on the 100 index. The beauty of pivots PA and news!

The problem is that according to the polls he will be elected for a second term.

It is one thing to defend the interests of one's country and this is right, another is to say everything and its opposite.
But perhaps behind it there's a strategy that we small retail traders don't know.

EG is becoming interesting to watch but only in case current bad sentiment on Brexit process should improve.

Great trader Joe Dinapoli once said Indians are born with money management skill and they are good traders in general. I don't know much about Armenian and I am not against them, but haven't heard much about their achievements in tech or financial fields unfortunately.....
Normally this deranged individual is not worth responding but this one is a must since it assumes too much idiocy.

For all forum members.I have no ill bias or feelings towards anyone nationality, race.People on this thread freely trade from Pakistan Iran India France UK Canada Mexico Malaysia etc.All religions.Traders who get kicked out are due to not following instruction its simple as that. Some idiots spend way too much time turning FF into a gossip channel troll site and its obvious who those individuals are.

That's true and I am sure there are different mechanisms to deal with that but punishing US importers and consumers and hurting thousands of businesses is plain terrible idea.
Plain fact is its not China paying the tariffs its us. Now anytime he will start berating the Feds again that dollar is too strong....well when you are threatening world economy scared money tries to find safe places.

Let me take the opportunity to say YES losses can occur in this business.I am down for the month ( month's not over yet) but also know I feel super confident I will hit my 2nd Q with green profits. That's the spirit set backs are just that but your attitude resilience and fortitude that matters.
In the end you will become a stronger trader. Think of battle harden soldiers. They are fearless.

1pipperhour, everyone on this thread has given up equity and I am no exception. All I can say is, "Your right it's only money". Though I'm in DD as well, it's nothing compared to if I went to the Casino in Vegas and had a bad night.
Personally, I don't blame Trump neither. This upside down problem on trade started many Presidents ago by being too soft. I would never underestimate Trump as he has done many good things for the American people to his credit. Definitely, I would call him a No Sh_t guy who has the guts to stand up to anyone. I do think there will be compromise on the trade deal as most deal makers bake that into the cake from the beginning. Hey, "three months from now we may not even recall this moment". Anyhow, the markets are going to wake up.
