{quote} I'm getting the impression that there is more action/movement during New York hours as opposed to London trading hours ?
Yes indeed, in the morning they are not so much trending these days. Most trades I did where in the afternoon.. .

rockypoint Jul 26, 2018 3:07pm | Post# 3322

No, really don't think so. London usually is more volatile, summer can be erratic.

Maybe it's the summer time Rocky, but some trades last week I opened in the morning they just begun to run after the overlap... Rockypoint what do you think about futures is it better than forex in your opinion, I am lately researching it to maybe add this to my portfolio....

I am unsure how to handle that pullback - previous long support level maybe - I wonder how ROckypoint would have viewed that pullback ?

The problem with pullbacks is that a pullback might end up as a reversal...i prefer the first assault although i can still get into subsequent attempts after pullbacks..
RP stands to correct me if im wrong but i think he just goes out of a trade according to set parameters and if there is a signal after the pullback he just takes it without hesitation.I NEED TO WORK ON TAKING TRADES WITHOUT HESITATION AND REASONING TOO MUCH when the signal is there

Invitation to join a group of traders who will be identifying and trading 1 to 5 minute RP-style breakouts:

https://join.slack.com/t/pipville/sh...TRmZDQxODkzNzU

Two of us from this thread will be meeting there regularly between London open and London close. If sharing the work of identifying and trading these set-ups interests you, then you're welcome to join us there!

@Rockypoint
Here is another E/J Trade ( UK Time ) BUT I missed it because I was not out of bed then !! So I missed the Long.

Now - Look at the circled price ?
Not sure if I would "Short" against a rising "Cloud."

What do you experienced guys think ?

Hi.

Also missed the same deal. Now I have sold it. The truth is also a bit late. It seems to me that this was a mistake. The price is about the opening day.

Working with PATJE today in our Slack chatroom, we identified -C and -A after the U new release, and traded +AU, +NU, +AJ, +UJ, -UC.

We missed the best RP-style trades: -EC, -EA, -GC.

My best attempt to replicate an RP trade selection today was this -UC trade, opened after U news was released.
