If u are interested - I mainly trading on OIL, in my opinion WTI now is going to 49.60 - 49.80 and then go down.

about 14 months back, brent indicated a dead cat to 56.xx minimal, before heading toward a 14$ target. wti i assume will be in a similar pattern less than 56. the spread on wti comparable to brent used to be about !0$ less. i know that spread has tightened. not sure where wti will go. i do think brent 56.x will happen. hopefully 1.2047 will be there at that time. usd/cad at this point is not agreeing. the closes on quarter, month, week are higher. that is not a bearish indication usd/cad wise. many tops have the same characteristics.

If us$ appreciates (e.g. rate hike) gold/silver could be turning more downside, anyhow the risk seems computable with silver long @ 18.84915. Let's see!

We should get a bounce around these levels. Bear in mind any sign of exhaustion and sellers will be ready.

Trying a GU long here. Stop below low. Dollar index seems to have reached a resistance level as well so possibility of short term reversal helps chances. Closing at any signs of exhaustion.

I would expect that having set a new post Brexit low it will have to be retested before much of a bounce could occur.

More looking for a quick in-and-out retrancement than a full blown reversal. But I agree it's a risk, but I'm willing to take it.

so gator what happened to your 1.45, 1.56 and 1.63 call in the cable. are you busted?? or you still think we can reach those targets now. The only target I see is 1.24-1.25-1.20 with the way cable is rallying on the downside

market is always on the look out for ppl like you trying to pick bottoms. there was a trader named attila here. he used to say more money is lost picking bottoms than your entire trading. he was a wise trader but got banned

So you suppose everything moves in nice straight lines? You can easily see your comment makes no sense.

PS Already out of my GU trade for a 1:1 risk:reward at DS1 possibly turning into resistance.

There are many different profitable ways to trade. Different kinds of profitable money management. That you and I on the TF we trade and the S/R levels dont want to go in to a trade against the stream doesnt necessarily mean that it will be a bad trade. Keep an open mind

longshot_nl Oct 4, 2016 5:13am | Post# 9440

silver could go to 38 before 2.33 right.?
so if we get put back 40 years, maybe wait years first before this sequence is over.
just a thought.

I too think we live in a bubble that will pop. Reason is money gets printed all the time. Imho it only works because rich get richer and they sit on their money.
As soon as they exchange their money for real stuff like metals, oil etc. -> inflation maybe stagflation.
