gold gapped up on news , but not all the time gaps fill, or..not right away.. even tho that volume seems climactic. i guess the next candle will tell the story if it s weakness or strenght. 13 trades today, 10 winners. should ve been all winners but first 2 i got aquainted with the setup, and another 1 sold at support without realising... and even so i m 84 pips green. cheers all

would be a good trade but stop is around 25 pips or so.. too big for scalping, also the 1hr volume looks climactic plus has dropped for quite a while.. i ll sit this 1 out..aussie and kiwi pairs have low daily range, that s why i don t trade them, if there s news, or some catalyst, might move few pips but otherwise, ur stuck there atleast from my experience so far trading them

The ATR is not part of this strategy. On the other hand at the beginning of the day the ATR is very low so the trade is more risky. After a few hours you can appreciate if the daily ATR has gone far enough compared to previous days. If it has, the daily ATR will give you a good indication of the risk of the trade. Of course if the candle is at the low or high of the day with a decent day ATR you have more chances to win a big trade. Yesterday's 18:30 candle at 58.05 (red vertical line) is a good example. The 2 fxglow indicators were deep blue and the half trend indicator also gave a buy signal while the low of the day was 56.21 and the high of the day was 58.47 so, although it wasn't the ideal trade, that price was far enough from the low price of the day to enter into a trade.

sell or buy after price retraces to the emas(dinamic suporrt resist) in the direction of the overall trend for the timeframe that ur on.
do not sell¬buy when price is far away from the emas, wait always for the pullback, wait for the close of the candle that cuts the trendline, and wait for the next candle to drop 1 or 2 pips more and enter. hope this helps .
cheers
