Nice setup. I will wait for price to close across the trendline or MACD to cross the zero line.

It doesn't always work and this is a good example. There were some important news about the CAD this morning. I should have been more careful.

Nice. I looked @ HD in H4, zone in M30 and made an entry in M5. Stop above the pivot high in M30. Position initially moved down but now shows reversals.
Should we baby sit the position or follow set & forget approach. The former looks too tedious & stressful. How do you manage?

I will probably bring my stop loss to break even before the end of the trading day and the start of the w.e.

Is your entry at 1.12852 and initial SL near 1.1305 levels?

Here is an example of managing hidden divergence with a drill down approach which I think is ideal for high timeframes that have a high level of risk. The HD pattern is identified on the Monthly chart (yellow trend lines). Switching to the Weekly chart, we wait for a trading zone (blue rectangle) to start (red vertical line). An entry given by MACD crossing the zero line to the down side is possible at that point, but still, the risk might be too high. Click to Enlarge

Switching to the 4 HR chart, we wait for every signal that MACD is giving us crossing the zero line (lime vertical lines) in the trading zone (same blue rectangle). For a cost averaging approach, a 16 HR chart would be better, but the 4 HR works also. This method helps to manage the situation with more acceptable levels of risk.

A HD pattern on the 4 HR chart, but not sure that price will continue going up. Waiting for a signal on the 1 HR chart.

Here is an interesting situation. We can see a HD pattern on the 4 HR chart and an entry signal on the 1 HR. I won't take it because price fall seems to be exhausted which is shown by repetitive regular divergence signs by MACD to the upside on the 4 HR chart. Also the lower lows and lower highs in price are getting smaller and smaller.
