{quote} Thanks for sharing but it's not clear to me or maybe I'm not understanding, there are 7 Blocks for settings but you give 8 parameters? 1 ) 50 MA on M1 2 ) 21 - 35 MA on M5 3 ) 21 - 35 MA on M5 4 ) 21 MA on M15 5 ) 12 MA on M30 - H1 6 ) 12 MA on M30 - H1 7 ) 5/12 MA on H4 8 ) 5/12 MA on H4 1 - M1 - 50 MA 2 - M5 - 21 MA 3 - M5 - 35 MA 4 - M15 - 21 MA 5 - M30 - 12 MA 6 - H1 - 12 MA 7 - H4 - 5 MA 8 - H4 - 12 MA I assume the MA means the standard parameter of Simple Moving Average of the Close Price
Oh yes, but there was never an answer to the next post, you show 6 time frames and 8 MA settings

But, there are only 7 inputs for Timeframes in MadDash ???

Can you please give a screenshot or make the setting clear & simple?

Thank you very much?

As you've always seen on my charts, I use only 3 or 4 of the MA settings, and generally it is a mix of LWMA, EMA & SSMA. It doesn't matter which of the 3 MAs used. I use the EMA on the M1, LWMA on the M5 and SSMA on the M15.

I generally use the M5, M15 & M30 @ 21 LWMA on all 3 time frames as I trade the NOW trend.

It is 1.36 am here and going for a snooze now after a quick one from GBP weakness after the news release

Few points from USD strength vs AUD/ NZD weakness.

Seems i will keep close focus on major news that move the markets...eg FOMC, rate, NFP.

919,
what's your experience with big news?

Whitespire Jun 13, 2018 2:33pm | Post# 2016

Thank Gilead for your postings. yes it does take some time to get accustomed to the setting and learned how to use them best. I am adding this tool to my other trading parts.

{quote} {quote} George, Andrew & 50d, I've been staring at MADdash daily for almost 2 years now. The answer is actually very simple and I think it might just be quite easy to do - for a guy with Andrew's brilliance, of course. Have a look at the top 'x' number of pairs in the screenshot below. Also look at where those currencies sit on the Timeframe Groups (as shown by 50d). Here I've highlighted the top 10 pairs in the pairs list sorted as "Absolute Values". Notice the EURJPY and where it pops up in the top 10 on TF's M1-H4... (old screenshot,...
George et al, I want to make a suggestion.... slight "expansion" of the functionality of this tool. can we have another DERIVED ALERT SECTION that will trigger whenever we have the same pair at the top or bottom of the derived section? i.e an alert for the strongest or weakest. Example is shown in the attached chart for the chart attached, lets have an alert pop up to say...BUY JPY and if we have either CAD or EUR in all choosen TF at the bottom, let another alert pop up to say - SELL EUR or SELL CAD I tried to wait for block colors before i trade,...
Guys, both functionalities would be really useful and much appreciated

I think a lot of traders use it exaclty that way

Regards,
Michael

It depends on how you trade - intraday, short term or long term. I'm an intraday/ ST Trader and trade the M30/H1 candle off the M1/M5 chart. I use both the index and histogram as follows:
