for a bearish plan, if price breaks down red TL or supportive line, we might have a sell entry.
for the moment, usd seems weak, and for the breakout we would need a stronger usd.

London opens with a potential bearish setup.
Angle is red, trend is red, usd stronger than gbp.
we have a high and a low.
Price rejects to cross/close above sma20 on H1, making a lower high.
Price returns down, breaking supportive TL and nearest left fractal with usd>gbp.

last night bull setup failed. or a few 5/7 pips would been possible.
previous LO, we got a short setup, hard to catch but possible Gbp weakness and Usd strength was backing up the short entry.

After LO, we had bullish setup.
Angle was green, trender was green, GBP was stronger than USD.
we have a L-H-HL and a break to HH over sma20(BB).
Setup worked.

Hi,
Two sets to note.
Set 1:
During Asia session, we had a bear cycle, but without bear setup.
Late session the bull setup returns, as usual are still in a session where volatility is often low. Nevertheless, i've been "checking" Asia setups.
Bull setup worked for about 40 or 42 pips atm.
it's NFP day so, protection of any gains should highly be considered.

Set 2:
If only after LO rule is applied, we can see that LO opens with a bar with relative high volume, almost with no lower wick. (to note).
If that was a selling impulse, it would be natural that the very next bar would continue down. Not happened, in fact, the next bar opened higher, went lower, touching lower BB and returned back up, close above previous bar open with volume even higher. Some buying was hided at LO.
Also, LO opens within bull setup. Angle was green, trender was green. Time to draw TL. (either new or old TL).
The 3th bar breaks up TL (entry point).
SL placed at recent Low Fractal.
Bull setup worked for about 27 pips.
Blue Circle: Price close the H1 outside BB80 and above H1_5_LWMA_HIGH. -> Potential extreme A. (Akim's setup) on H1. Possible retrace.
It worked, price retraced (atm) about 24pips.

Hi,
nothing written.
i've used it for while, not nowadays.
if your want to learn how to interpret volume a advise you search for VSA threads, read all you can about Wyckoff, Tom Williams...
or search for PVSRA thread which is the origin of the posted indicator.
teach how to use it...well i don't think my lifetime is enough.
it would take tooooo long.
but, if you decide to study VSA (my best ever advice) you will soon start to understand volume.
"every movement borns with a high volume bar, same as ending".
in that indi, high volume are marked by colors, green & blue for bull bars, red and magenta to bear bars.
if volume of the current bar is higher than the mean of x past bars, will be green or red.
if volume of the current bar is higher than the mean of y past bars, will be blue or magenta.
can't remember x and y well those parameters, but it's the most basic a can remember.
good luck, and remember to pass by and post any of your findings and reads...
stay cool.

I will definitely read up on that material .. thanks for getting back to me

i will also share some ideas and thoughts and general feedback here ...

I have noted that the PVSRA even with Round Numbers does give false signals...it's about 50/50 ...

I guess what i am alluding to is, the PVSRA always correct? Should we have the Simple or Standard bars or both displayed. I mean what is the ideal indicator settings?.

Your thoughts or anyone's for that matter would be much appreciated

Also is the price/Volume information from PVSRA only relevant to the information on the broker's server and not a representation of the TOTAL market?

imo, it's very relative and therefore very subjective.
nothing is 100% correct.
just practice to increase your odds.

broker only.
not total market.

Hi,
LO opens with bullish setup. Angle was green, Trender was green.
Enter long on break of the nearest left fractal break, TL or resistance line.
Nearest fractal is at 1.2520.
No TL, so expect to retrace down and add TL.
Near resistance line is at 1.2489.
Price went down with wide spread bars, both with increasing volume, some sort of selling climax, it started to retrace back up after made a new low 1.2473.
After 2 hours closing bellow H1 20 SMA, bears could show up. and we have now a bearish setup.
Angel is red, Trend is red. Enter short on the break of the nearest left fractal, TL or supportive line.
Near Fractal is at 1.2473.
No TL, so expect to retrace up and add TL.
Near support line is now same as fractal 1.2473.
Usd needs to be stronger than gbp.
