Well ADP Non-Farm looks good. That should set the stage for NFP. I guess time will tell. To bad I will be working during the release!

Looks like the ADP is really giving this pair a push after EU sector closed.

I'm a late comer to this thread, but 180 min a day is more than enough to make as much money as you want...back up the truck. I do have a few suggestions that may require some week end work in addition to your 180 daily minutes:

  1. Forget trying to trade news announcements...the fastest way I know to lose money is to speculate how the speculators will react to the news.
  2. Devote yourself to trading 4 hr trend cycles. They seem to be the most frequent and can be quickly checked in just a few minutes periodically through out the day even if you just use a smart phone to look at them.
  3. Find a trend trading method that uses a probability of 52% or greater and apply it to 4 hr trends..you will be amazed how easy it is.
  4. Finally, try to clump as much as your 180 min together in the evening (US TIME) so you can concentrate while the market is slow. Gap time or beginning of the Asian session. This will give you three solid hours to see what the previous day did (from a 4 hr perspective) and allow you time to plan a trade and set pending orders. Then go to sleep and check periodically through out the day which pending orders where triggered.
  5. Don't try to "manage" your trade with your smart phone, just use it to check what happened. Save your thinking for those 180 min when you have set aside time to think and plan.

I hope you find this helpful. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me or IM me.

I support this, 101%......... phone trading should be banned.

Hello Danny,

Same here mate. Only use smartphone to check the updates regarding the matket. It is really hard to manage trades with it.

Well guys, I manage my trades on my IPhone and IPad MT4 every single day for at least 2 years now. As the matter of fact, all the charts I posted were from mobile APP.

Get off work, find a coffee shop, sit tight and watch some Mobile FX. I often do 2-3 hours per section, and its completely doable.

Gspajon,

These are some good tips except i do spent most time on my mobile FX.

1. News gives me liquidation and volatility. Sometimes it offers me trend direction. A combo of technical and fundamental is a long way to go. As you can see in my blog, most of my won trades were fueled by some kinda news.

2. Yup, and thanks.

3. Yup, and thanks.

4. We are on the same page on this one. Thanks.

P.S. Asian market hour is suitable for scalping or about 25% of its ATR.
Unless i have a good lead, i would most likely close before go sleep. The reason being is that couple pips I gained during Asian hour would most likely be shaken off in EUR and US market, especially when i normally put in large lot size with little room for stops.

5. Yup, I do almost 90% trades on my IPhone. I do that because i show how easy to make money on the go, to my clients, friends and haters.

Thanks for the kind words, Keep it coming. I like them.
